C316 Leaded commercial bronze combines the natural corrosion resistance of C220 and C314 with the machinability typical of leaded brasses. The fairly low zinc content of C314 provides excellent corrosion resistance in potable water applications. It has a higher tensile and yield strength than C314 based on the addition of nickel.
