Commercially pure (99.6%) Nickel Alloy 201 is essentially the same as Nickel 200. It is a wrought nickel that is solution strengthened, but with a lower carbon content making it softer, more suitable for cold forming and use at temperatures over 600°F (315°C).
Applications include electronic components, active cathodes, lead frames, temperature sensors, transducers, transistors and vacuum tube anodes.
